RePower Canada Inc. receives 2009 Green Community Award
On November 11th, 2009 the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce held their annual Barrie Business Awards Gala. RePower Canada Inc. was the recipient of the 2009 Green Community Award.

RePower Canada Participates in Spring Clean
RePower Canada Inc. is proud to be part of the Barrie Spring into Clean – Corporate Challenge. The leadership team of RePower cleared over 5 bags of garbage from Ferndale Park on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Both Iain Robertson and Jason Lickver participated, walking virtually every inch of the park and managing to miss the afternoon rain/hail storm. Much of the garbage was candy wrappers, bits of plastic, styrofoam and general litter. We were pleased that we did not find any hazardous materials or items like old tires or discarded appliances!
